What a cool post. Bill these really are fantastic and the extra shots are very compelling. Nice work and I look forward to more of these wet shots. Very nice.

Bill - The extra photo reminds me of a photo in one of Mr. Nemes books. He had a photo of a soft hackle under water, that looks like a real submerged insect. His photo was SO convincing to me, I just had to try soft hackle flies. Your photo is equally convincing...

Going by the recipe, that is an excellent fly, but the first picture is not coming through for me. The others, up-eyed and damp, are OK. The gremlins must be at work. :?
