I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

Sweet and fresh. Excuse my ignorance...... but is the Starling hackle thorax wrapped? If so did you tie by the tip and wrap forward, or tie by the stem at the eye and wrap back bringing the thread through?
Either way it is a neat looking fly and that hackle could sub Dotteral perhaps?

Thanks Jeff,

I tied the hackle in by the stem over the eye along with the peacock, twisted it all with the thread and wrapped back and tied it down.

Exemplary rendition flawlessly tied.
