Damn that is a handsome fly! Those Sawada hooks make a nice framework. The blend of colors is very harmonious.
Question - How do you like working with the Griffith's 14/0? I just started using some Gudebrod 10/0 midge thread (it was recommended to me by Chris Helm) and love working with the stuff.

Thanks Ray. I really like the Griffith's 14/0 and use it A LOT. It is nice and fine for the little stuff, and with a little patience you can split it to dub in that style. Very strong for the diameter. Griffith's and Pearsall's is about all I use even for my steelhead flies, unless I'm spinning hair or something.

I really like this pattern. Looks to be very versatile. Nice tie!
