Ray, I'm enjoying the exploration of materials. Did you do something to the denim? Waxed? The kicker is the coordination of colors. Nicely done.

William - No, I did not do anything to the denim thread. It is just drawn tight and wound over itself in two layers (down and back). It may look glossy because I used my flash, when taking the photo.

No. Just a standard "twist it on & pick it out" method. Touch dubbing would also work.
