			Hi there all,
Stewarts Spider
 
This is probably a bit scruffy, even for a Stewarts!  
 
 
It's on a buzzer #16 because I am out of B160's but i do like the 'short shank look'. It really looks like it could do the business on my little river... can't wait to give it a try.

			On this forum, sparse is beautiful and you've got a dandy!  I like the bite of this style of hook!  Stewart would be proud indeed!  Please, keep them coming!

			Very nice, one of my favorite patterns. 
This is one of those flies that you show 
non-fly tying folks, and they look dissapointed, 
expecting to see some sort of fly with exotic 
feathers and fancy material. But it WORKS!

			I've had West Slope Cutthroat take a size 14 Baillie's (Stewart's) black spider in the middle of an October Caddis hatch.  I assume (and that's dangerous) the Spider looked more alive than the actual Caddis did.  My Go-To fly on most rivers.
